Throughout the day, you’ll experience both its headline sights and its quieter details, from everyday corners to places that reflect its layered past and modern rhythm. Bakeries, historic streets, and hidden gems add texture to the experience, while the evening remains free for you to unwind or join an optional group dinner.

Today’s route leads away from the Atlantic coast and toward the dramatic landscapes south of the High Atlas Mountains.
After departing Casablanca, continue inland toward Marrakech before pressing onward to Ouarzazate, a city long associated with desert routes, kasbah landscapes, and cinematic scenery. The changing terrain gradually introduces a different side of Morocco, where wide horizons and southern light begin to shape the journey. Arrive in the evening, settle into your accommodation, and enjoy the option of sharing dinner with the group.

The journey turns more remote today as you move toward the edge of the Sahara for your first desert night under the stars.
Before leaving Ouarzazate, visit the famous Atlas Film Studios and discover how Morocco’s dramatic settings have played a role in international filmmaking. From there, travel through Zagora and continue onward to Mhamid, where the true desert experience begins. The final approach unfolds on foot as you walk into the dunes for around two hours, arriving at camp near sunset. With tea in hand, watch the colours of the sky change as the sun drops below the horizon, setting the stage for a peaceful evening in the desert.
Day 9 Erg Lihoudi Camp → Bertam Oasis Sunrise • Camel or walk • Fireside desert evening
Wake to the beauty of a Sahara sunrise and continue deeper into the desert on the second day of your Berber journey.
After breakfast at camp, set out once more into the vast open landscape, where the silence and scale of the desert become part of the experience itself. You may choose to continue on foot or ride a camel to the lunch stop, following a slower rhythm that reflects the timeless nature of these routes. Later, return briefly to modern transport as a 4x4 carries you onward to Bertam Oasis. Arriving in time for sunset, you’ll settle into camp for an evening of dinner, music, stories, and the unforgettable atmosphere of the desert after dark.
Day 10 Bertam Oasis → Zagora → Skoura 4x4 return • Pool break • Palm oasis town
After another sunrise in the desert, begin the transition back toward greener landscapes and oasis life.
The day starts with a 4x4 journey back to Zagora, where you’ll have time to shower, freshen up, and enjoy a well-earned break by the hotel pool after your desert adventure. This pause offers a welcome contrast to the raw simplicity of camp life. Later, continue toward Skoura, a peaceful oasis town celebrated for its date palms and calm southern atmosphere. In the evening, gather once more with the group for dinner and a relaxed close to the day.
Day 11 Skoura → Marrakech Final transfer • Tour ends in Marrakech
After breakfast, travel directly to Marrakech, where your journey comes to its conclusion.
The final transfer brings you back to one of Morocco’s most iconic cities, closing the loop on a route that has taken you from the northern coast to imperial cities, desert camps, and oasis valleys. The tour ends upon arrival in Marrakech, either at the airport around 1:00 PM or at the hotel for those extending their stay. For a smooth departure, flights should be scheduled no earlier than 4:00 PM.
